Sales prices of multi-family investment properties have now reached an all-time high. Buyers continue to enter the market as interest rates remain near historic lows.

Duplex sales volume decreased 6.17% over 2013. Fourplex sales volume decreased 21.43%.   |   Duplex avg. $/SF increased 4.45% over 2013. Fourplex avg. $/SF increased 5.37%.

Duplex avg. $/unit increased 2.15% over 2013. Fourplex avg. $/unit increased 5.50%.   |   Gross Rent Multiplier is a ratio between the sale price and its gross monthly rental income. Average value = (Gross Monthly Rent) X (Gross Rent Multiplier)
